the author

Jess Moleman (1981, Utrecht) is a novelist and citizen-reporter. In secondary school he developed a liking for the written word. Aged nineteen he finished his first manuscript which was dutifully rejected by both publishers and everybody else who laid eyes on it.
At twenty-one Jess gave up university and started a prolonged journey around the world. Right now he resides in Madrid (Spain) where he listens to Echo and the Bunnymen and lives a quiet and withdrawn life.
Jess’s goal in life is to get a Wikipedia entry in all the native languages of the girls he dated. These include, by his own accord, Quechua, Euskara and Awa-Cuaiquer, a language spoken in a remote area of Columbia by not more than 21,000 people.
Like most of his work, Jess is fueled by whisky and coffee. For a comet appears he used his own international experiences and anecdotes typical for 21st century northeners, which he heard from the people he met on his journeys.
